Why PolicyCenter first

PolicyCenter is the policy administration system of Guidewire InsuranceSuite and usually the largest workstream on an implementation, which is why it has the most developer openings. Once you know PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter and BillingCenter feel familiar because they share Gosu, the data model and the PCF framework.

How the course runs

  • Live classes on weekday evenings or weekends (IST), each recorded.
  • Practice sessions where you build alongside the trainer.
  • WhatsApp doubt group with replies in English, Telugu or Hindi.
  • Capstone: configure a personal auto line for a fictional insurer, from data model to integration.

Course fees are shared directly after you enquire. Request course details or book a free demo class.

Beyond the course

Work support for professionals on Guidewire projects, and certification preparation guidance for learners working towards official Guidewire certifications.

Guidewire PolicyCenter Development: FAQ

How long is the PolicyCenter Development course?

Five weeks of live online classes, with every session recorded so you can revise afterwards.

Do I need Java to learn Guidewire PolicyCenter development?

Basic object-oriented programming is enough. Gosu, Guidewire's language, runs on the JVM and reads much like Java, and the course teaches Gosu from the start.

Is this course on Guidewire Cloud?

Hands-on work is on self-managed InsuranceSuite, whose core (data model, Gosu, PCFs, rules, product model) is the same foundation used on Guidewire Cloud. A concept module explains what changes on Cloud. We do not provide Guidewire Cloud access.

Will I get an official Guidewire certification?

Official certifications are issued only by Guidewire Education. We provide a completion certificate from GuidewireTraining.com and separate certification preparation guidance.
